Project Description: This is a large mid-rise apartment complex near the Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA. There are (4) apartment buildings and (2) separate amenity buildings with landscaped in-between spaces. My role was Project Architect and exterior detailer for the residential buildings, but also Co-Project Designer of the amenity buildings. I was involved from the beginning of Design Development to the end of construction.

Project size/program: 600 apartments, (4) 5 to 7 story apartment buildings, (2) amenity buildings, 1.5 levels of below-grade parking.

My Project Role: Project Architect & Co-Project Designer under the Senior Designer.

Project Construction & Assemblies: 5 levels of Type V wood frame construction over 1 to 2 stories of Type I PT concrete slab construction; Hardie Panel, wood siding, brick, storefront, & blackened steel & perforated metal cladding and canopies.
